=====Daisy’s presentation on wind sensors=====
  * HOBO Wind Sensor Set
    * $560
    * Use for calibration
    * Measurement range from 0 to 100 mph
    * Lasts about 5 years
    * Accuracy 1.1 m/s or 4%
  * Yoshi used hotwire anemometer
  * Ultrasonic
  * Use microphones to make wind sensor
    * Four microphones facing NESW
    * Two microphones in perpendicular tubes and one outside
    * About $6.95 per microphone
  * Test Yoshi’s wind sensor
  * Fourier Transform on Arduino
  * Get data from Severine or NREL

=====Software Update=====
  * Modularizing hardware and software
  * Zach recently finished a software driver
    * Can test module on computer independent from hardware
    * Assumes hardware is working properly so software only tested
    * On Github
  * Ryan working on website
  * Christie finalized Python plotting module

=====IAB Visit=====
  * IAB visiting on Thursday of next week
  * Will probably be after lunch time

=====Meeting with Facilities=====
  * Dr. Kuh trying to schedule meeting with facilities
  * Also trying to set up meeting with Dora from HECO
  * Dora may come by the lab this afternoon before lecture

=====Hardware=====
  * Conrad finishing main board and power
  * Starting to work on sensor board
  * Will then work on developmental part
  * Hardware meeting on Monday, October 13, at 2:30 pm
