Week 13 - April 17, 2017
Attended: Kaeo, Tryston, Michael
Updates
Started working with the ATmega1284p
Tryston did some research and found that the pins of the DIP package and the TQFN package are slightly different
Started using the AVR Dragon programmer that Kenny had bought last semester
It can be used to program some of the ATmega devices
Trying to get it to work with the our ATmega in SPI programming mode
Need to burn the bootloader to how we plan to use the ATmega (Voltage at a certain clockspeed)
We're thinking of 3.3V at 8MHz, right now but we found that we can use 3.3V at 16MHz if we want to
Hooked up the AVR Dragon to work in SPI mode and downloaded the Atmel Studio software
Haven't learned how to use it yet
This is the first step to having it being programmed onboard - SPI supports onboard programming
Met with Raytheon
