Finished populating two Rev D2 board
one w/o RTC, SP215 header, large capacitor and battery clip
done for testing purposes
wants to see if the capacitor affects charging circuit
big capacitor does not affect charging circuit; when using power adapter LED indicates that charging circuit still works; do not know why there is small capacitor (10uF) parallel to the big capacitor (4700uF)
when uploading Visual Studio code, 'programmer is not responding'; suspecting defined board as 'ATMEGA1284' instead of 'ATMEGA1284P'; ATMEGA1284 was old batch of microprocessors, ATMEGA1284P is new batch
'P' stands for 'power'; ATMEGA1284P can operate at lower voltages than ATMEGA1284
need to talk to firmware for help with changing microprocessor definition
solved; refer to 'Guava Tutorial' document in Guava folder for solution (Thank you Giancarlo Portillo of Firmware)
one w/o RTC, SP215 header, and battery clip
needs programmer and XBEE headers to be added before testing; will continue on Wednesday
