Fall 2016 Roadmap

  • Recruit freshmen, sophomore and juniors for the next school year. We need talent to help continue driving the technical development of the lab.
  • Continue to find rooftops to deploy weatherboxes (multiple rooftops)
  • Document EVERYTHING!
  • Find more mentors and mentor the new recruits
  • Start networking team

  9. Get new students on board

    3. Give access to Wiki and Slack
    4. Give access to SCEL Google Calendar
    5. Give access to Google Drive folder
  10. Figure out room code access
  11. Figure out room schedule
  12. Plan orientation meeting (by the end of the break)
  13. Plan mentorship training meeting (by the end of the break)
  14. Determine All Hands Meeting dates and schedule of events for the semester
  15. Figure out a good way to handle finances
  16. Figure out how to open the leadership planning a little more
  17. Finish updating and deploying new website
  18. Jaimie has a suggestion on the CURRICULUM.
    1. Find way to incorporate reading and discussing academic papers
    2. Maybe make this a regular thing for our lab. Required so it shows.
  19. Talk to Dr. Kuh about the Wind Sensor Team
    1. Noah, the man who works with HI-Capacity, was interested in the wind sensor.
  20. Contact Scott about his team.
  21. Look over the end of the semester survey to find out where to place people for next semester.
    1. Find out who is continuing for sure next semester.
  22. Have our own meetings to start breaking things up.
    1. Ask for feedback from the big 3.
  23. Reorganize this list for feedback.
