Cygwin can make some of your development easier if you're using a windows machine as your main computer. It gives you a unix-like console.

1. Download cygwin here: https://www.cygwin.com/
2. Run this command: lynx -source rawgit.com/transcode-open/apt-cyg/master/apt-cyg > apt-cyg
3. Run this command: install apt-cyg /bin
