Since the College of Engineering Career Fair is today, we will push our lab hours down by an hour, 4:30 to 6:30. Today, we start to organize all the parts we ordered before and to see which components we need to buy. One thing we found out is that the capacitors we needed for the solar charging chip are 470uF, but the part we ordered is 470pF, which has 1000 times less capacitance, or storge.

We organized all the parts we have and what we need to order, we worked out filling out the Ron Ho Fund paper for the part order. Also, we went to do researches on how the solar charging chip needed to work properly, we were able to change up the mistakes we found with Kenneth and removed most of the unnecessary parts to it in order to decrease the size of the board. But, we felt that there will be more mistakes for the schematic we have now. We will work more on this next week and our goal is to finish it up and order it before Spring break.
