All Hands Meeting- February 6, 2016

  • Room Updates
    • No homework policy
      • Limited space in room
      • During 2:30-6:00 please do not use the lab to do homework
    • Noise level
      • Use indoor voices in the lab
      • Please be considerate of those around you
      • Conversations not related to the lab should be done outside the lab or after peak hours from 2:30-6:00
      • The leadership team may ask people to leave if they are being too loud
    • Clean up after you eat

    • Will be held on Saturday, February 13

  • Spring break- Week of 3/21/2016: 10 weatherboxes deployed
  • Week of 4/11/2016: 296 weatherbox projects due
  • Get ahead on work and account for debug time and unforeseen setbacks

  • General Presentation Improvements
    • Talk loudly so everyone can hear
    • Do not read off of slides
    • Do not lean on table with keyboard and mouse
    • Do not move the mouse while presenting- its distracting
    • Put page numbers on slides
    • Be careful of how much text is put on the slides
  • General Presentation Remarks
    • Overall, presentation slides were nice
    • Content was explained and covered well
  • Questions for 296 projects
    • Who will be completing what on the gantt chart?
    • Will people be assigned roles?
