  • Modularity- software and hardware will be independent
  • Design updates- Hardware
    • Two boards- main and sensor boards
    • Debug boards will be made for both boards
  • New Hardware

    • Refactor current weather-box code
    • Tests for individual modules
    • Tx module to send large payload
    • Communication protocol
  • Goal by end of semester
    • Working box that can be put on roof
    • Tx module and communication protocol working
  • Purchasing parts
    • Need shorter XBEE antennae
    • Ron Ho Fund for x96 projects

    • Total roughly around $641.73 * Need a block diagram for documentation and final report =====Reflow Oven===== * Reflow oven needed for Conrad to make new board * Sean could help with software side of reflow oven * Candice would like to finish reflow oven this Fall * Need exact schedule * Someone needs to supervise * Possibility of using Dr. Garmire’s reflow oven =====Boxes Currently Up===== * Take down box on Holmes Hall down * Box died from Hurricane Ana =====Funding===== * Zach and Conrad, and Kenny, Ryan, and Christie each got $2000 from COE
