• Tried to bootload PCB board
  1. Keep getting wiring error
  2. Atmega was not soldered onto the board properly - Kenneth helped us fix this problem
  3. After fixing the soldering problem, we were able to bootload the board
• To test whether the board was bootloaded correctly, we tried uploading Blink program
  1. Have to define pin number in the code
     1. pin number: 9
  2. Got error uploading the code to the board
     1. Have to change the setting on Arduino Tools
        1. Board: “Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila”
        2. Processor: “ATmega328P

• Upload relay code to the board

• Uploaded relay code to PCB board
• Test PCB board to see if it will transmit packets
  1. the coordinator cannot recognize relay Xbee
  2. Had to change Xbee header because ground pin was broken
• After soldering new header, coordinator recognized both relay and sending Xbee
  1. tried transmitting packets again, however, the coordinator is not receiving any packets
  2. we checked whether Xbee is getting any power
  3. Andrew used the oscilloscope to check if our RX and TX connections were good
     1. When we probe into the pad, we get signal. However, when we probe into the Xbee, we were not getting

anything. So, Andrew suggested to change the header again because it might be the cause of
