What is Git? - Git is a line command tool that helps you track versions of code. 4. What is Github? - Github is a hosting server for Git repositories 5. How are Git and Github different from each other? - Github uses Git as it is the Distributed Version Control System (DVCS). 6. Why do you think git or any other version control system can be useful? - It tracks changes, modifications, and additions - Shows who contributed, what they contributed and the date - Allows one to revert back to previous versions of code - Allows collaboration
