  • Strangely, board 3 from last year works and transmits perfectly fine
    • possibly b/c it has not been powered on in a while
    • This board was showing major transmission issues last year
    • ==Try putting screws into through holes==
  • Dylan wrote an arduino code to measure XBee voltage (watch for ghost voltage)
  • Currently doing a life time test of board
    • will move on to doing life time tests while housed and with solar panel
  • The board works fine, and we didn't do anything
  • Test XBee transmission when in contact with metal and without
  • Reprint housing bottom and Solar Panel holders (put holes in the screw places)
  • Use diode to avoid power from XBee
    • Find an appropriate diode
    • Find out where MCU could be powering the XBee from
  • Program Dragonfruit board 5
  • Measure for shorts
    • Oscilloscope
    • Talk to Ohta about possible plane tunneling issues
  • Figure out if repeated use damages/degrades the performance of the board
  • Test board after replacing Charging Chip
  • Find surface mount charging chip part (redesign board to use this part, may solve shorting issues)
  • Finalize Eagle schematics of GPS and RTC
