  • Started soldering circuit
  • Continued soldering
  • Found 0 ohm resistor (pkg 0805)
  • Tested using heat lamp
    • Voltage across VCC on the charging ckt (on board) spiked whenever we turned on the heat lamp to simulate the sun
    • Spiked to ~6.4V and suddenly dropped back down to ~4 V
    • This could be one of the problems why the board keeps dying
    • Potential solutions:
      • Capacitor (choose a right value?)
      • If the voltage spike is due to current, we could use an Inductor
  • Review csv file for Weatherbox deployment analysis
  • Code an arduino to monitor current drawn by charging chip
  • Start soldering next week (Tyler)
    • Start with charging chip
  • Investigate short circuit current of solar panel (Kyaw)
