  • Soldered voltage divider to the solar irradiance sensor. Step down an input of 5V to 1.6667V
  • Created Gantt Chart
  • Learned (from Cranberry) how to check sensor readings, but need clarification from Nathan about polling.
  • When connecting XBEE and FTDI the board creates a higher pitch sound (both in frequency and amplitude).
  • Makes noise everytime it sends a packet.
  • The 3.3 Voltage Regulator EN pin is controlled by the XB_EN, so you have to edit the software to set the voltage to high. If not, the voltage regulator steps the voltage down to 2.2 V instead of 3.3.
  • Deploy by Thursday
  • Check data sent from board
  • Start researching new components. Look at GPS in SCEL and check if it matches specs of the board.
  • Look into printing a xerox version of the circuit diagram
  • Create an updated version of the board
    • updated circuit power connections to microcontroller
    • voltage dividers
    • GPS
    • real time clock
