- Firmware difficult to test
- No good housing solution for all generation of boxes
- Battery life could be better
- Costs could be reduced still
- Lack of PCB mounting solution on cranberry
- need cheaper PCB fab for later versions (OSH Park maybe? Look http://pcbshopper.com/)
- Apple board power analysis not complete.
Missing Features
- RTC and backup battery solution
- Universal power switch for devices (external)
- External reset switch (mounted externally)
In general, boxes cannot be put into an enclosure and then “forgotten” about.
Generation Specific
- Apple needs to be re-worked for xbee software serial
