Back to work on the bare arduino! Had all our group members come in today! The issue from the previous week with getting the code onto the arduino has partially subsided. The tutorial that the group was following seemed to disappear! This led the group to following a new tutorial that was different from the previous which led to a few hiccups. We basically have to redo our bare arduino, but we got lucky with some guidance from our mentor Marvin. This week we deployed an FTDI in an attempt to bridge the software upload issue, but there was limited success. The bare arduino blinked, but the wrong light was blinking. It seems that the other group was also having this issue. So, we worked together as a collective group to troubleshoot both of our boards. Our board is a mess as it is just a collection of jumper wires which makes the problem of troubleshooting the issue that much harder. As of now we are focusing on cleaning up the board to be able to troubleshoot the issue and move on. The bare arduino has been the most significant road block in the group's progress and success thus far. However, it will make for a great learning experience.
