Critical Design Review (CDR) Presentation Guidelines

Each team's presentation should include the following:

  • Overall block diagram of your system
  • Hardware teams: include block diagrams of the different parts of your system
  • Software teams: include your pseudocode/algorithm for your code
  • Your team’s progress since the PDR
  • What you have yet to finish
  • Any questions or problems you would like answered or feedback on

When presenting, please keep the criteria from the following rubric in mind: presentationrubric.pdf. We will give teams feedback based off of this criteria.

  • Each team will have 8 minutes to present with a couple minutes afterwards for questions
  • Presentations should be saved to the Dropbox (SCEL > General > Papers & Presentations > x96 > Fall 2015 CDR Presentations) at least 30 minutes before the meeting starts
  • If you made your presentation on GooglePresentations and the formatting is altered when downloaded, please save a pdf copy of the presentation in the Dropbox and share the presentation with Christie ([email protected]).
  • Files should be saved as < Your team name >_CDR_Presentation.pptx.
    • For example, the Dragonfruit design team will name their presentation as “Dragonfruit_CDR_Presenation.pptx”.

The proposal presentations will be held on Saturday, November 21, from 10 am to 12 pm in Holmes Hall 389. Please respond to the google calendar invite that was sent out, and if you cannot make it, please also email Christie ([email protected]).
