Preliminary Design Review (PDR) Presentation Guidelines

Each team's presentation should include the following:

  1. Overall block diagram of your system
  2. Problems or issues you have experienced
  3. Your team’s progress since the Proposal Presentation
  4. What you have yet to finish

When presenting, please keep the criteria from the following rubric in mind: presentationrubric.pdf. We will give teams feedback based off of this criteria.

  • Each team will have 8 minutes to present with a couple minutes afterwards for questions.
  • Presentations should be saved to the Dropbox (SCEL > General > Papers & Presentations > x96 > Fall 2015 PDR Presentations) at least 30 minutes before the meeting starts.
  • If you made your presentation on GooglePresentations and the formatting is altered when downloaded, please save a pdf copy of the presentation in the Dropbox and share the presentation with Christie ([email protected]).
  • Files should be saved as < Your team name >_PDR_Presentation.pptx.
    • For example, the Dragonfruit design team will name their presentation as “Dragonfruit_PDR_Presenation.pptx”.

The PDR presentations will be held on Saturday, October 17, from 9 am to 12 pm in Holmes Hall 389. Please respond to the google calendar invite that was sent out, and if you cannot make it, please also email Christie ([email protected]).

Please wear business casual attire to this presentation. Men should wear a collared shirt and slacks. Women should wear a dress, or a blouse and skirt or slacks. Please do NOT wear jeans. We will be taking pictures for our website after.
