Onboarding Guide

This guide will help you to get started with our lab's tools and procedures. Regardless if you've joined us as an x96 student or not, you should find this a good starting place to start contributing to our lab.

Everyone

These are things everyone should be doing.

  1. Make sure you have access to the following things:
    1. Wiki
    2. Slack
    3. Google Calendar
  2. Write a message on slack - say hello!
  3. Create a LinkedIn profile if you don't already have one
  4. Go through the introduction readings
  5. Complete the wiki introduction task
  6. Send a biography to the lab manager

All x96 students

  1. Put your weekly meeting time on the calendar (make sure you have access).
  2. Create a folder in the google drive for your team's documents

296 Students

  1. Come up with a team name (if relevant).
  2. Register for the Ron Ho Fund (see Dr. Sasaki).
  3. Create a wiki page for your team under weatherbox
